On the occasion of World Music Day, Elite is unveiling an exclusive collection of well-known lullabies, reinterpreted for Elite by equally well-known Swiss artists. The collaboration highlights our ongoing commitment to making sure people of all ages enjoy a good night’s sleep.

"Elite Lullabies" is much more than a compilation of music: it’s also a tribute to our history and our commitment to the comfort and wellbeing of our customers, young and old alike. Children can count on our « Chérubin » mattress to help them sleep well and grow as they should.

By combining our expertise in beds with calming musical numbers, we offer children a unique sleep experience that’s much more than merely functional. Redolent with soothing nostalgia, these well-known lullabies resonate with all of us, and these versions by some of our best-known local musicians give us a way of passing on our shared heritage.

The Berthollet sisters have enjoyed resounding success in Switzerland and France over the past seven years as a duo, with an endearing chemistry that adds a special touch to their remarkable violin talents and a musical output that brings together classical music and a taste for pop culture. For the Elite Lullabies album, Camille contributes the legendary lullaby Ah, vous dirai-je maman by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the most prolific composer of all time.

Constantly dividing her time between Geneva and Paris, Noa has sung to her heart’s content ever since coming out of a coma while listening to Enrico Macias. She regularly performs the opening act for singers’ concerts throughout France, including at the legendary Olympia venue. Her contribution here consists in a joyous take on the celebrated lullaby Au clair de la lune inspired by the fairytale musical atmosphere of Disney.

JULIE CAMPICHE

Harpist, composer and singer Julie Campiche is constantly seeking new artistic challenges, performing solo or in a quartet. Innovation and experimentation are the watchwords of this Geneva musician who has won several awards honouring her unique and dedicated labours. Here she offers us a version of the well-known Brahms lullaby played on her lifelong instrument, the harp.

Born in Geneva, composer, singer and songwriter Régis cut his teeth with Geneva record label Cheptel Records before deciding to self-produce. With a love for French songs and the vocal style of a world-weary crooner, he draws inspiration from the likes of Serge Gainsbourg, Niagara and Christophe. For us, Régis has chosen to provide a new take on A la claire fontaine: a slow, twilight version with backing music by Christophe Calpini.

MARINA VIOTTI

MARINA VIOTTI

A rising star of opera song in the past three years, former heavy metal vocalist Marina Viotti has now found a home in classical music, bringing it up to date as her muse inspires her and in doing so, making it more accessible for all. In 2023 Marina Viotti won the Classical Victoire de la Musique award for ‘Lyric Artist of the Year’. Here the mezzo-soprano from Vaud stirs our hearts with a graceful rendition of the Italian lullaby Fa la ninna, fa la nanna.
